The system includes an AC power-cord for continuous operation when connected to a standard AC wall-outlet, and facilitates charging the included internal sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries. On a full charge, the system will operate up to ten hours on its SLA batteries’ power. The BIG2-R can be used as a stand alone system with bluetooth enabled devices or wired mics (not included in base price). If you have an existing Bigfoot system with an AIR transmitter, the BIG2-R can serve as a wireless companion speaker. This eliminates the trip hazard and speaker spacing limitations of cables.
